What Causes Light Vaginal Spotting During Periods?
I don t know if I m on my period or spotting. I m supposed to start my period this week, but I m having super light bleeding and bloody discharge. It isn t enough to be an actual period. I take birth control pills and never miss any. I m also not sexually active. I ve never had this happen before and when I search it it just comes up with pregnancy as an answer. Help?

I really appreciate your concern, it is the sign of irregular menses and it happens due to change in hormone level some time it may be due age, it may be due history of miscarriage and other causes, if the pregnancy is suspected then better to get done the test and ultrasonography is advisable hope this information helps.
