What Causes Light Vaginal Spotting While On Minastrin 24?

This is my second month in a row getting super light to almost a missed period. I just see a little blood the first day, and then nothing else happens. I take birth control regularly and have been for a year. Minastrin 24 fe. But all the test I've taken say negative even after my missed periods. But I feel like I am pregnant and my stomache looks like it's larger and harder in the left side! What do i do?

Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum.
I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to comfort you that this happens to many of the patients who are on hormonal contraceptive pills. This is because there is large amount of hormones in blood present. Thus the bleeding or Periods that you get while on OC Pills are not true periods but a Reactionary bleeding of stopping pills for 7 days.

Thus I would like to suggest to you that you need not to worry about anything as long as you are taking the pills correctly, without missing it. Also there should not be any in between periods bleeding or spottingg, so keep an eye on it.
