What Causes Lighter Periods And Blood During Urination?

For the past couple of months, my period has been a tad shorter and only brown discharge has been on my pad but when I pee it would be just a little red blood. This usually happened (the brown period) before and after my period but now it is happening a lot during my period. Is this something I should be concerned about? I'm only 14 years old,about 98 lbs, 5 foot 2, and started about 2 years ago.
