What Causes Lightheaded And Pain From Head To Toe?

Hi,

Please help, I am so worried. I am a 28 year old female, 5ft 1 and about 7.5 stone. My problems began 3 months ago after a cold. It began with light headedness which was almost constant but sometimes worse than others. Then I had numbness and tingling, crawling and prickling sensations, some diarrhoea, palpitations, sudden feelings of intense pressure in back of head and throat and sometimes suddenly unable to think/focus when I've felt really lightheaded, waking up with fuzzy hands, feeling shaky, feeling suddenly really weird like something awful was about to happen. Also achy arms, hands and sometimes legs but not for long at a time. I was sent to a Neurologist who after talking to me ruled out anything neurological and said I have a post viral illness that will clear up gradually, he seemed definite about that. Although I have not had anything I would really call pain just occasional aches and slight pains in arms and hands and haven't had much tiredness from this, I began panicking about Fibromyaelgia. My GP said he doesn't think I have it because after 3 months I'd be in a lot of pain and pain is how it begins whereas mine didn't really. He said the pain is normally from head to toe. He thinks the aches are just part of the post viral thing. I really need another opinion as I am so upset and scared. If after 3 months of this I only have odd aches as I've described does this mean I don't need to worry about this? I'd also like to point out that overall I seem to be improving slowly as the Neurologist said, the lightheadedness is getting better whereas at the start it was awful most of the time, and overall I don't get as many of the Neurological symptoms as I was getting weeks ago, but whenever anything aches I really panic now, although nothing ever hurts enough for me to take painkillers and it doesn't stop me doing anything. Please give me some advice.
