What Causes Lightheadedness After Having Marijuana?

Greetings ( : On Oct. 13 2014 I smoked some weed.Had q couple glasses of red wine and passed out twice while standing. I was recently put on blood pressure medication Lisinopril. 20-25 Mg tab. I also was told by my doctor I have anxiety. I m also clostaphobic. I ve smoked marijuana since about age 20. I did recently stop. 4 about 7 or 8 months straight. When I attempted again on Oct 13. It was all bad. It was only what I thought 2 be a little bit of Kush weed. I suddenly began to get hot. Hen light headed. I was headed 4 the door when a friend stop me asking if I wad ok.next I knew I was on the floor. They said I just fell. They then picked me up after being told to leave me alone! I knew I was not ready to get up yet.they. wouldn t agree. Next I know I m back on the floor in a different spot. About 5 feet from the 1st spot where I fell out originally .. this has never ever happened. Before. Tried again without the wine few days later. Did not fall out but felt very strange like I needed air very bad immediately .. I m also African American

Lightheadedness after marijuana use is common. This can also cause anxiety, panic, and paranoia. These sensations will go away with time, and are not dangerous. However, to avoid experiencing this again, do not use marijuana.
