What Causes Lightheadedness And High Blood Pressure?

I am 79 years old, weight 170 height 5 4 , the last week I have been very light headed, I have never been in high blood pressure medicatioh, but the lastvcouple days I have checked my blood pressure, and its running around 142/94, should I be concerned?

Hi,
It seems that due to increase in blood pressure you might be having light headache.
There is moderate raise in your blood pressure.
Observe your blood pressure daily and keep record for few days.
With once reading high BP might not require blood pressure medicine.
Take less salt in diet.
Ok and take care.
