What Causes Lightheadedness, Nausea And Uncontrollable Shivering During 3rd Week Of Pregnancy?

I am 3 weeks pregnant and am on many medications. I have been having a lot of lightheadedness, nausea, and internal body shivers. I went to the hospital(thats when I found out I was pregnant), and he said it was due to the pregnancy. Not sure if this is true.

Hello,

n the early weeks of pregnancy you will feel nausea & vomiting, moodiness, fatigue, swollen breasts or increased urination.

These symptoms occur because the body goes through physiological changes for making the uterus ready to receive the viable fetus.

You can consult your gynecologist & take medications to keep you comfortable.

Stay well hydrated, well nourished, take adequate sleep & stay away from stress & anxiety.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
