What Causes Little Bleeding During My Periods After Blood Donation?

One week ago, I had 17 tubes of blood drawn to see if I could be a kidney donor for my dad. Two days ago, I started my period but have VERY LITTLE bleeding and it did not even last a day. Is this normal considering the amount of blood that was drawn?
