What Causes Little Paper Cuts On Foreskin? Should I Be Concerned?

I have three little paper cuts on my foreskin. I'm a 48yr old male(of course) never had this before. Had this for the first time last month. It went away. Now it came back after I was cleaning my foreskin. What is this n what do I do? And should I be concerned?

Hi,

I can understand your concern for little paper cuts on foreskin.

After reading your query it appears to be due to candida infection of the foreskin which is a type of fungal infection.

Fungal infection of the skin is quite common due to infection and hygiene as well as most commonly due to diabetes.

To prevent the further spread maintain good hygiene wash it two times properly. Stay away from hot and humid climate.

You can use clotrimazole cream or terbinafine cream over the affected areas under medical supervision. I suggest you to take antifungal tablet by mouth such as fluconazole 150 mg alternate days for 15 days.

Go for your blood sugar check up to rule out diabetes and raised blood sugar.

Take care.
