What Causes Liver Enlargement After Recovering From Deep Vein Thrombosis?
hello...my brother got a dvt 3 months ago ..he has taken a warfarin and now he stopped it ,,he is 20 years old ,he used to play sports everyday..but before getting dvt he got appendectomy and peritonitis...the last analysis shows an enlargment of liver only, and doctors say he has cured from dvt...questions are whats the reason behind the liver enlargment??..second question ..can he again go back to sports,,he plays football n a club ..

Do Doppler usg of abdomen to rule out hepatic venous outflow tract obstruction.he can go for sport .complete Lft
