What Causes Loose Mucus Stools Along With Abdominal Cramps And Nausea?
Sometimes my stools look like loose tobacco or are multiple small brown stools, sometimes with mucous or greasy looking. I had a full hysterectomy last year, and since have lost 10 lbs. When I eat anything, I have cramping and the urge for a bowel movement right after. I also experience a little nausea as well. I take amlodopine (5 mg) , one aspirin (81 mg) and 1 mg alprazolam daily . Should I fear colon cancer at this point? My last colonoscopy was about 2 yes ago. They removed some polyps, but there were multiple tiny polyps that couldn t be removed.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of loose mucus stools along with abdominal cramps and nausea. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastroenteritis , food allergies , lactose intolerance , giardiasis , irritable bowel syndrome or appendicitis. Need not to worry. For now eat light and non spicy , take antacid after every meal, drink plenty of water and take light walk after every meal. You should take plenty of fluids in diet and avoid outside food intake. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order ultrasound , endoscopy or stool test. Doctor may prescribe omeprazole , laxative , ornidazole or albendazole. You should take small and frequent meals and avoid taking large meals at at time.
