What Causes Loose Stools With A History Of Having IBS?
I have recently moved 400 miles. It has been very stressdul and tiring. I have a history of IBS. My bowels have been loose for a few weeks now. In the past day it has become somewhat more pronounced. I took two imodium and some citrucel. Seems to be quieting down. What would you recommend? Thank you Charlotte

What Causes Loose Stools With A History Of Having IBS?
Hello, As a first line management you can take anti motility drugs like racecadotril. If symptoms persists better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
