What Causes Loss Of Appetite, Weight Loss And Mood Swings?

My husband has lost quite a bit of weight, eats very little, drinks more than he should and has started stuttering when he speaks. He has spells of bad moods and acts like a spoiled brat when things don t go his way. Any idea if this might be a medical issue?
