What Causes Loss Of Appetite While On Vizylac And Anafortan In Children?

Hello, I two year child suffering from constipation, not able to stool, so after consulting with doctor prescribed BONNISAN SYRUP and LIVO LUK SYRUP after taking syrup my child to stool but he complains about stomach ache and his motion is loose. Now doctor prescribed ANAFORTAN ,VIZYLAC and TOPCEF.And my child is having very bad eating habits. He does not eat anything and does not drink milk as well.Please advise on above medicine and what to do to increase his appetite Ram Avtar Sharma

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have loss of appetite while on Vizylac and Anafortan . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to side effects of the medicines your are taking , vizylac is known to cause lactobacillus infections and Anafortan is known to cause stomach disturbance . So i would suggest you to consult your gastroenterologist for proper evaluation of the condition and rule out other condition . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . For now take some probiotics food .
