What Causes Loss Of Balance While Walking?

For the last 6 or 7 days or more I am having difficulty maintaining my balance when walking. I wobble and stumble for no apparent reason. it s all of my effort to stay mobile without falling. My legs feel rubbery and heavy when trying to walk. it comes and goes. For lower back pain (right side only) I am taking Gabapentin 300 mg cap amn , cyclobenzapr 5mg (sub for flexeril 5mg tab), diclofenac potassium 50 mg ta mylan (sub for cataflam 50 mg tab) all 1X per day. Each calls for 3X daily. Additionally, I take hydrocod/acetam 10-325mg (sub for NORCO10-325 tab) once daily as needed...I will take 2 advil tabs one day and 1 hydrocod the next day unless the back pain is too intense, then I take 2 hydro in one day. For gout I take 1 allopurinol every day without fail. I also take simvastatin 20mg tab int (sub for zocor same dosage), montelukast 10mg tab (sub for singulair same dosage) both 1X per day for high blood pressure and high cholesterol and allergies???...some times I forget to take them. With the allergies I have hard coughing moments so I take prometh/cod 6.25-10mg/ml syp morton (sub for phenergan/ codeine syp....doesn t work as good as the OTC delsym cough 12 hour. Plus I take metamucil for fiber 3-4 tabs daily, coq-10 800mg for heart health and 1900mg omega 3 for the same reason, B12 5,000-10,000 mcg for energy and finally One A Day proactive age 65+ for men and women. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It may be problem related to inner ear.

You can try drugs like Betahistine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
