What Causes Loss Of Libido With Pain During Intercourse?

I have been experiencing extreme loss of arousal, nothing works along with pretty severe pain during sexual intercourse, or any type of sexual activity, which almost always results in tears from pain if I try to do so. The pain is hard to explain but like a sharp stinging/burning/throbbing constant tightening pain, during and after intercourse. It is effecting me emotionally and physically and making me become much more distant and irritable towards my partner when I don t mean to be. I have been experiencing this for probably 6 months or longer, I have been to the doctor twice with no answers and am not very good at explaining the issue face to face as it s something I ve never experienced before.

Hello,

Pain during sexual intercourse will result in loss of libido, though stress, relationship problems, history of sexual abuse, disease conditions like thyroid issues, diabetes, etc can cause loss of libido. Pain during sexual intercourse may be triggered by PID, fibroid, vaginismus, UTI, endometriosis, etc. Get clinically examined, diagnosed & treated at the earliest. You may need treatment with antibiotics, anti fungals or corticosteroids. Empty your bladder before sex. Take pain relieving tablets before sex. You may need sex therapy.
