What Causes Loss Of Memory?

My Dad has Cirrhois of the liver and we were just told that the he has cancer for which has grown in the chest and they believe on the bones. They took him off the transplant list and gave us a time line of 1-3 months. My Dad is really not with it. Sleeping a lot. Doesn't remember anything and talks about random things. Is his time coming sooner than expected?

Hi,

I'm so sorry to hear about your father. Unfortunately, because the cancer has spread, even with a liver transplant, he would continue to worsen, and the cancer in his bones and chest would continue to grow. Its difficult to say, but with such spread cancer, I would say yes, his time is coming pretty soon.

The best thing you can do is continue to support him and make him comfortable.
