What Causes Loss Of Muscle Mass In The Leg And Frequent Falls?

About 10 years ago my brother got shocked with height voltage while working. At the time there seem to be no damage.. In the recent year, he gas noticed his leg had lost muscle and it s getting real thin, and has caused him to fall down several times?

Hello,

Muscle waste and the fact that he is falling a lot might be due to a neurological problem that might be in the level of the leg or even further in the spine or brain.

To better determine the cause of it, your brother needs a visit with his local doctor first and have a neurological examination and the local doctor will then refer him to a neurologist and maybe other testing will be needed like EMG, NCT and brain or spine MRI.
