What Causes Loss Of Muscle, Swelling In Ankles And Dark Circles Around Eyes?

I have been losing weight without really trying, overall weakness, loss of muscle mass, pain in chest, ribs, hip bones. I have leg cramps and swelling in the ankles, dark circles and bags around eyes I ve never had before. I feel sick most of the time without any apparent reason. My blood pressure goes up and down, especially when I eat.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to many medical conditions. I suggest to do some examinations for further evaluation. I recommend to do a complete blood count and check thyroid hormone levels. I also suggest to check the blood pressure and the kidney function.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
