What Causes Loss Of Sensation In Vagina After An Accident?

I used to have a very active sex life, I was multi-orgasimic. 2 years after an auto accident I no longer have any sensation in my vagina. I took progesterone for a short time that minimally helped. I need to het back to enjoying my husband of 28 years.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the change is due to nerve damage then it is possible that the use of medication normally used for nerve related pain or disorders may help eg lyrica, gabapentin, tegretol, amitriptyline, cymbalta etc

There are also devices that are used to help with the pelvic muscles as well.

You may want to consider assessment with a sex therapist to see if this helps.

I hope this helps
