What Causes Loss Of Smell And Dryness In The Nose?

I lost my sense of smell almost ten years ago.I was using nasonex for years to help with the stuffy nose.I had nose bleeds and headaches that would kill an elephant for three days.I had to stop the nasonex. It s like a head cold if the house was on fire I would not smell it. I sleep in a room with a rug and my nose gets extremely dry and stuffy, this started with an infection but the antibiotics did not cure it.I will have this the rest of my life! This is just one of many other things I must deal with. What if anything will help?
