Hi,

There is nothing to get worried. Loss of taste is due to medications he is taking. It will be fine within few weeks. Drink lots of water and do proper brushing of teeth once he is out of breathing machine. He will be fine. Keep calm and stay happy. Thank You and have a healthy day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rohit S. Menon,
