What Causes Loss Of Voice With Sore Throat?

i have had a sore throat for 5 days now and lost my voice for 3 day the pain is mostly in the morning and at night but i cough alot and cough up stuff as the days go buy its not getting better i just keep loseing more in more of my voice it sounds like im wispering now

well the symptoms narreted by most likly point towards the severe upper respiratory tract infection.
The reson for the dimunition in voice can be the increasing inflamation at the posterior pharyngeal wall ( pharyngitis ) or the congestion & swelling of the tonsills which is also called as tonsillitis.
have you taken the medications for sore throat and if yes can you name the contents of it ??? that wold help you to treat you mre correctly.
What now you can do is that just confirm the swelling of tonsills or congestion of the posterior phayngeal wall either by self examination in mirror or get it cheked by physician in clinic.
As of now you can start with gargling with the luke warm water with the added salt in it or with normal saline three times a day & have a hot milk with the haldi ( turmeric) in it twice a day which can help you restore your voice earliest. give as much voice rest as posiible which will help you restore your voice earliest.

You may need higher antibiotics for this condition but that should be taken after experts advice.
