What Causes Low BP And Fatigue After Taking Amoxicillin?

My husband stopped taking amoxicillin 4 days ago due to side affects. Felt like he had the flu with no appetite, and would throw up if he ate. He had low blood pressure, fatigue with an overall sick feeling. How long will these side affects last. Thank you for any feedback in advance.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of the use of the antibiotic. I suggest to eat healthily and drink liquids to help with low blood pressure.

I also recommend taking a multivitamin supplement to help with the fatigue.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
