What Causes Low BP And Heart Rate While Taking Levothyroxine?

Hi my daughter was seen at the er today. She blacked out twice at school her blood pressure dropped her heart rate was 58 her temp was 97 she was sweating profusely and kept saying she was hot. The er said they couldn t find anything wrong gave her two bags of fluids and sent her home. She is still not feeling well. She is on levothyroxine for hypothyroid and has been for a couple of years she was just put on metformin for prediabieties a week ago. Can anyone please help I don t know what is wrong with her she is only 14.

I really appreciate your concern, here the hypoglycemia need to be ruled out because of the metformin, it is questionable as long as prediabetes is concern, better to get done the plasma glucose test, EKG, ECHO and CT of brain for safe side, it can not be taken lightly hope this information helps.
