What Causes Low BP And Low Heart Rate?

Yes, I have always had low blood pressure and a low resting heart rate, but in the past year it flipped, to High BP and a high hr. I m looking for answers to what may be the issue, and I don t think my doctor is really searching for the underlying issue. just prescribing meds.

In most persons, high blood pressure is called essential hypertension, where there is no distinct cause found. In others, the minority, there is a specific reason, most commonly hormonal. Some of the causes of this type of increased blood pressure are:

(1) Abnormal thyroid hormone levels
(2) High cortisol hormone levels
(3) Increased growth hormone
(4) Pheochromocytoma
(5) kidney disease
You can consider assessment for any of these issues.
