What Causes Low BP, Breathlessness, Sweating And Fatigue?

Today I came home from school and welcomed my mother with a hello and how are you because I could tell she was really sick. After a few hours my mother started loosing breath and was sweating so she asked me to make her an boiled egg and some warm tea. She felt a little better after the food but started feeling ill more after a while or so and then she went to a local drug store to check her blood pressure and she ended up with 112% (top) 59% (bottom)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

This blood pressure is a little low, but not low enough to be very concerned about it.

However, if she also had a fast heart rate, a fever (greater than 100.4) or she normally had a higher blood pressure than this, I would be more concerned she could be having a serious infection.

I would suggest taking her to urgent care or ER to make sure she is alright and to start treatment if she needs it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
