General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You need to investigate for your leg swelling as below.
- Serum total protein estimation to rule out hypoproteinemia.
- Serum TSH estimation to rule out hypothyroidism.
- Echocardiography to rule out a cardiac cause.
- Serum urea, creatinine estimation to rule out kidney disease.

According to cause specific treatment given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
