What Causes Low BP?

my husband is taking entresto and his blood pressure has dropped to 81/51. The doctor started his on it 3 days ago. He told him to take it 2 times daily. He has taken it only once daily with a water pill. We told the doctor and the nurse told him to take it.

Hello,

If he is having hypotension then better to decrease the dosage of this medication.

Prior taking Entresto, ensure that you are not already taking an ACE inhibitor. For patients taking an ACE inhibitor, ensure that it is stopped and allow for a 36-hour washout period prior to starting Entresto.

So please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
