What Causes Low RBC Count While On Procrit?
My husband is on Procrit and red blood cells were 9.9 so far he comes home from work very tired, his age is 83 , has had a triple by pass and heart attack in 1996. I have no idea what to do. How sick is he , should I look for any other signs , please let me know

Hello,
I think he needs further examinations like ferritinemia, iron in blood, and blood formula. He may need to take iron. Procrit doesn't give this side effect. Anemia gives fatigue.
