General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a part of low metabolism or effect of chemotherapy/iodine therapy. Consult a physician and get evaluated. In severe cases, drugs like filgrastim may be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
