What Causes Low WBCs And High ANA?

hi! i have been suffering from bizarre and extremely uncomfortable symptoms for 2-3 years now. the last medical doctor i went to ran so many tests, including an mri on the brain, my ana was extremely elevated and slightly low wbc count. referred me to a rheumatologist said i some type of autoimmune disorder, every test came up negative. i have been reading about mast cell activation disorder and this seems to fit my case. i do not have a medical doctor at this time, don t want to waste time going to doctors that just brush off all of my symptoms and tell me its all in my head. how do i go about finding a doctor to diagnose this? where do i begin?

Hi
Thanks for your query
Based on your query and findings, am of the following opinion.
1. Low leucocytes may be due to infections/ autoimmune disorders/ bone marrow suppression.
2. In your case it might be due to autoimmunity as you have tested positive for ANA.
3. However you need to rule out pancytopenia, by getting a complete hemogram done to check for RBC counts and platelets.
4. ANA positivity means autoimmune disorder present, but to know which one, you need thorough evaluation.
5. You can consult a immunologist, discuss your symptoms and get evaluated.
Hope this helps
Regards
