Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Low Abdominal Pains With All The Tests Being Normal?
I have low abdominal pains. They are mild-medium about a 4 on a scale of 1-10. I have a high tolerance for pain. The pain is not constant, it occurs when I get up from a prone or sitting position and when I lean forward. I have had a Colonostopy, a GED, an x-ray and a CT of the pelvic and abdomen with and without contrast. My blood test have been normal.
Hi. Thanks for your query and an elucidate history. If all the tests are normal , means there is least chance of the problems which could have been detected by the tests you have undergone through.
Your pain is: Intermittent, it occurs when you get up from a prone or sitting position and when you lean forward.
A good clinical examination by a Surgeon with proper physical examination can definitely get the diagnosis. From your history , I think you have a problem with abdominal wall , which can be sprained muscles, hernia or pinched nerves.
