What Causes Low Appetite And Throwing Up Post Food Intake In A Teenager?

My 20 year old son is at college; and he has been mentioned for the last 10-12 months that he has trouble sleep and eating. He says that he has minimal appetite, and from 7-10 am, he feels like he is going to throw up. If he tries to eat, he says that he sometimes does throw up.

Hello,

Probably he may be suffering from acute gastritis or food poisoning or hepatitis etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tab. pantoprazole and tab. ondansetron in case of vomiting.

Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
