Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Low Blood Pressure Along With Dizziness And Fatigue?
MY BLOOD PRESSURE GOES DOWN TO 105 OVER 46, I FEEL DISY AND JUST WANT TO CRY. REALLY WEAK. LOCAL DOCTORS TELL ME TO TAKE SALT. TAKES TWO HRS. FOR PRESSURE TO CME UP LAND THEN LASTS ONLY A COUPLE HOURS. i DON T WANT TO KEEP TAKING SALT. mY STOOL WAS REALLLY BLODDY THIS MORNING AFTER 2 WEEKS OF TAKING SALT.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The use of salt would not cause bloody stools. So, it is important for you to speak to your doctor because the actual cause of the bloody stools would need to be found, it is not the salt.
You can use extra fluids to help raise your blood pressure, at least 8 glasses a day, not including any caffeine products like coffee or coke because they cause the body to lose fluids.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Michelle Gibson James
