What Causes Low Blood Pressure While Having Iron Deficiency?

Greetings, What could cause low blood pressure? SN: I have an iron deficiency (received a partial iron infusion approx. 2wks ago), low vitamin D at this time (3wks ago prescribed drisdol) and creatinine clearance level tested high @ 205 (recent echography showed no polycystic kidneys). My blood pressure has constantly registered low (ex: 94/42, 105/56, 84/50)

Hello,

Your blood pressure levels are really low and I think this is not related to iron infusion.

I think you should get fluid infusions to increase the blood pressure. Also, you may need to consult your blood pressure medications which you are probably taking more than needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
