What Causes Low Blood Sugar Levels With Stomach Pain?

Hi, my daughter has only been diagnosed since Feb. with type 1 diabetic, her levels have been all over the place. We went to hospital last week for 6 weekly check up and they have told us that we have to go back ti have her thyroid test rechecked. However, over the weekend she have been having low sugar 3.0 at 9pm, giving her coke followed by porridge. At 12.30am she had another hypo of 3.0, tonight she has done the same but have pains in her tummy, which she has had on and off for a while. Any clues to what this could be?
