What Causes Low Bp During Compression Fracture?

My husband s blood pressure is dropping quite low when he gets up to walk around. He Has a comprssion fracture is his lower back, and has been in bed primarily since May 11th. He is able to be up and around a little now, but has this blood pressure problem, He had a pain block last Thursday.

ah, cannot say in his particular case without all the details AND
with lying down for a considerable time the blood pressure goes down AND the ability to correct it with standing goes down. Compression stockings, salt and fluid intake... mainly gradually increasing the amount of time upright.. multiple tries per day and increasing duration being careful and getting up slowly, and with assistance.
AND... could be dehydration, fever, blood pressure or other medications, etc.
