What Causes Low Grade Fever And Body Ache?

I have had intermittent low grade fever, some body aches and general fatigue/flu like symptoms for 3 days. Was exposed last week to strep throat virus, however I ve had no sore throat. As far as fever, I ll go from chills to sweating at times. Have been taking ibuprofen. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dan

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Low grade fever without any signs of infection/ inflammation or auto immune problems, cancer..... need no treatment but rest, plenty of fluid intake & pain medicine like Ibuprofen ... that you are using.
But low grade fever with chills & fatigue suggests some infection in body... urine, sore throat- cough,ear pain, , irritability- neck pain or infection in any part of body or auto immune problems .... do need medical treatment.
If case you have low grade fever over a long span of days- you should get a full health check up & get it treated well cause specifically.Please consult a physician for that.
