I have had a infection in my lungs for 2 months The mucous was yellow then green. I started getting better but I still am coughing up phlegm. I run a low grade fever most evenings, and now I am soaked in sweat any time I try to sleep and cough up lots of phlegm. I am extremely tired unable to work. and seem to run out of breath every time I go anything physical.
- How much weight loss did you have in last two months. - Are you Diabetic??? Better to consult Chest Physician As soon as possible, Chest Physician may suggest: (1) HRCT Chest Post Contrast OR X Ray Chest PA View to exclude Chest infection like Sarcoidosis / Tuberculosis (2) Blood investigations like CBC, ESR and other few specific tests based on x ray and physical examination eg. Sputum for AFB (If Tuberculosis is rampant in your area of residence), some other tests to identify infection (3) If you are diabetic than dr. may advice some further tests to check your sugar levels
