What Causes Low Grade Fever During 6 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
I am approximately six weeks pregnant, 46 years old next month, and in good shape physically. Mine is a high risk pregnancy due to my age but I have also had two miscarriages just at the 3 month mark in the last year. I had a temp of 97.1 at my Dr. appt last week but he didnt seem concerned. They will not see me for OB and have referred me to hospital but appt not until Dec. 26th. Is low temp normal or within normal range for me at this stage.?

Hi, I understand your concern. A temperature above 98.6 ( normal body temperature) is called fever. Your temperature is within normal limits. If you don't have accompaning complaints like cough/cold/ urine problems ,please don't worry. You may have a feverish feeling may be due to exhaustion/ psychological stress. If you have history of abortions at 3 month, you should take rest till you consult your OB & are advised hormonal supplements for your baby. Thanks.
