Hi,

Causes of low heart rate are heart blocks like complete heart block or sick sinus syndrome or arrhythmias etc. A smoker may be prone to develop ischemic heart disease with arrhythmia or corpulmonale.

Avoid smoking, avoid alcohol and caffeinated drinks. do yoga and meditation regularly. If symptoms not improved please consult your Cardiologist/ Physician they will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
