What Causes Low Hemoglobin Count Post Angioplasty?

My father had an Angioplasty. Post that he has fluctuating BP, which has stabilised now. But now it seems he has very low haemoglobin which must get to atleast to a certain level. What could be the cause and more importantly, what needs to be dine in this case? Appreciate your guidance.

Dear patient
Low hemoglobin level(anemia) post angioplasty might be due to blood loss during surgery. He should be put on medication to improve hemoglobin. Start taking tab ferrous sulphate twice a day for 6 months alongwith tab folic acid and vitamin B12 once acid nd day for 6 months. Supplement protein in your diet. Treatment should be taken for long duration to build body iron stores. If his hemoglobin is below 8 then blood transfusion may be needed. Take him to expert haematologist and get himself investigated and examined to search for the cause of low hemoglobin.
