General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hii,

First of all it's sad to know what your father had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to a condition called SIADH which follows head trauma in some. For permanent betterment demeclocycline treatment may be needed.

Endocrinologist review is a must. Intravenous sodium replacement is also needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
