Hello,

You have low semen count. You want your wife to get pregnant. Low sperm count is commonly caused due to obesity, emotional stress, depression, use of alcohol, recreational drugs, tobacco, etc. Other causes are exposure to heavy metals, overheating the testicles, undescended testis, hormonal imbalance, ejaculation problems, infection, etc. You are suggested to get all routine infertility tests for men done, your partner should also get all routine infertility rests for women done. Both will be treated accordingly.

In the meantime, wear boxers, choose cotton briefs instead of synthetic ones to help control air flow and temperature. Loose weight if obese. Avoid bicycling for more than five hours per week as it may be associated with lower sperm concentration. Get your bike checked for a proper fit can help. Avoid substance abuse, no heavy drinking, avoid tobacco, cocaine, or addictions if any.

To increase your sperm count take home made nutritious food, vitamins, including vitamins D, C, E. Take bananas, avocados, water melons, eggs, red meat, nuts and seeds, spinach, garlic, dairy products, whole grains and cereals, etc. Avoid sugar and sugary products, processed food, alcohol, Chinese salt(MSG), etc. You can take medicines to boost fertility for men after consultation with your treating doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
