What Causes Lower WBC Count And Vitamin D Deficiency?

Hi, I ve been nauseated, with a headache, difficulty sleeping and light-headed/dizzy. I recently had bloodwork done which showed a white blood cell count of 3.1 and a vitamin D deficiency. Any clue on what could be causing this? All tests- HIV, pregnancy- came back negative.

Hi,

Vitamin D deficiency is common and not a big concern. You should take vitamin D as advised by your dr and not worry.

Howe'ver low WBC is a bit concerning. But if you are otherwise fine, I would suggest repeating the count after a week; if still low then it would need proper and a detailed assessment. But mostly it won't be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
