What Causes Lower Abdominal Cramps Along With Diarrhea?

Since midnight last night I have been having lower stomach cramps with diarrhea. When I wipe I am seeing some blood. I don t think the blood is in my poop though. I haven t eaten today for fear of it continuing. But the cramps and diarrhea continue

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lower abdominal cramps along with diarrhea . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like muscle strain , panic attack , drug overdose , gastroenteritis , side effect of medicine or allergic reaction . I would suggest you to drink plenty of water , take anti histamine like bendryl twice a day , avoid food like nuts and seas food and consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Also eat probiotics food like yogurt . Doctor may order blood test , check vital and take history . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anaspas , lopramide , anti inflammatory , omeprazole , anti emetic drug .
