What Causes Lower Abdominal Cramps Post Copper IUD Insertion?
Hi,I got the copper IUD 3 days ago, im really paranoid and i was wondering, what are the warning signs of my body rejecting it? And also, are random cramps normal? I feel like the cramps are coming from my cervix at times.. and what is.considered as the string being too long? I feel it being, about 3cm out if my cervix. Is that normal?
Hello dear. Understand your concerns. yes dear,it is normal. It is just side effects of copper T. Don't get tense, it will disappear in 8-10 days. In beginning, body take some times for adjusting,& length of strings are also normal. You feel it means it's sure that copper T is not misplaced. if you feel more cramps then take TAB.MEFTALSPAS two times a day for 3-5 days, drink more water & take rest. If you feel that it's become worse and not resolves, then consultant gynecologists for vaginal examination. I hope it will help you. Thanks. Dr.sagar
