What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain Along With Frequent Urination?

Last night whilst travelling I held off going to the toilet for almost 4 hrs. Then this morning I woke up with pains in my lower stomach and it also feels like I still need to urinate really bad every time I finish going although nothing more comes out? Any ideas?

Hi
Thanks for posting your query.
I appreciate your concern for the pain with frequent urination.
The features are suggestive of urine infection.

Get the urine analysis done and visit a gp for a course of an appropriate antibiotic if the symptoms increase or you develop fever with chills and rigors.

Otherwise take plenty of oral fluids (drinking water, juices, etc), Take Citralka syrup three to four times daily after the meals, this will help in reducing the burning sensation.

Do not delay or postpone the urination for longer period of time once you get an urge to do so.

Hope this answers your query.
