Hi,

Lower abdominal pain and watery stools can be caused by a variety of conditions, including gastrointestinal infections, inflammatory bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndrome, among others. In some cases, these symptoms may be related to a bacterial or viral infection or food poisoning.

The bulge that you felt in the lower abdomen may be a swollen lymph node or an enlarged organ, such as the liver or spleen. It is important to speak with a healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause of these symptoms and appropriate treatment.

In the meantime, it is important to stay hydrated and avoid foods that may exacerbate symptoms, such as spicy or fatty foods. Over-the-counter anti-diarrheal medications may also help to relieve symptoms of watery stools. If the pain is severe or accompanied by other symptoms, such as fever or vomiting, it is important to seek medical attention right away.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
